Tales from the DUDE Side

Car crashes remain the leading cause of death for young adults ages 18-24. We can learn from each others experiences and try to do better, whether driving distracted or getting in a car with someone impaired. Please share your story of being a young road user below. You may remain anonymous if you prefer, but must provide your college/school name to receive UDS All-Star credit.

This is a judgement-free zone, and we hope the more you share the more others can learn from your experience.*

*Content is monitored for foul language and bullying.

  • If you prefer to remain anonymous please leave this blank.
  • Must include this information for UDS All-Star points.
  • U in the Driver Seat

U in the Driver Seat is a peer to peer education program for college students dedicated to reducing their number one killer – car crashes. Resources are free for Texas college students.
  • Please thoughtfully share your story

Your story may save another person's life. Please share it here. A good story has a beginning, middle, and end. What happened, how did it make you feel, who was involved, and what was the lesson learned? Just like in your English class, please proof for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and clarity.
