Halloween can be a great time full of parties, fun and friends all dressing like something they’re not. It can also be a time where students may be more likely to binge drink or drink more than they normally do because of the occasion. If you decide to drink don’t be an ass – avoid extreme levels of intoxication and don’t drive. (No offense if you’re planning on literally being an ass for Halloween).
Remember some basic rules if you’re planning on drinking in order to avoid extreme levels of intoxication:
- Designate a driver! Check here for DD’s in your area!
- Eat protein before drinking.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Avoid drinking large amounts of alcohol in a short period of time.
- Start the night with a drink limit in mind and tell you’re friends – make everyone accountable!
- Avoid drinking games if possible.
